WhatsApp allows users to edit messages

WhatsApp has granted users one of its most awaited features - the ability to edit messages . "For the moments when you make a mistake or simply change your mind, you can now edit your sent messages on WhatsApp," the Meta Platforms Inc-owned (META.O) messaging app said in a blog post on Monday. With the feature rolling out globally in the coming weeks, senders will be able to modify their messages within 15 minutes of hitting send. The modified message will carry the label "edited", without showing edit history. WhatsApp may launch 'view once' feature for text messages

After offering the view once feature for photos and videos, WhatsApp is reportedly working on the same feature for text-based message s. The feature will allow users to send messages that can be viewed once, with no access granted for later viewing. This feature can help send sensitive information. The new feature is expected to be a part of the Beta version update of WhatsApp that might be coming soon. Currently, WhatsApp does offer the disappearing message s feature , which allows the user to make every message in the chat disappear after a specific time. However, the new tool will help with specific message s rather than the whole conversation. New WhatsApp feature makes it easy to message oneself

WhatsApp rolled out a new feature that enables users to text themselves privately and keep valuable information safe and accessible. The 'Message Yourself' feature will let users send notes, reminders and shopping lists to themselves. The feature is expected to release on iOS and Android in the coming weeks, Meta reported, as it announced the feature.
