Track your travel history

Google knows everywhere you have been.

If you have location history enabled on your Google account, the tech giant knows all the countries, cities and sites you have visited.

You can see exactly where you have Travelled and even filter by specific days to find a specific cafe or bar you visited at any given time.

The timeline function can also be accessed via the Google Maps app, by clicking the three lines in the left corner and choosing “Your Timeline”.

Photos paint a picture

Google also tracks your photos, revealing your location History through snapshots.

The platform records where each photo was taken through an image’s metadata for anyone who agreed to location tracking.

To see your photo location history, open the Google Photos app and search places, then select view all.

All the places you have snapped a shot will be displayed for you to explore, with the option to browse photos via a map.
