Two men stabbed in Adelaide following online marketplace sale

Two men were stabbed at a home in Golden Grove overnight by a man who was selling them an item he had advertised online.

One of the men was stabbed in the chest, and the other in the leg, at the home on Piccadilly Circus in Adelaide’s north-east at about 6pm on Saturday, September 9.

South Australia police said the suspect, a 22-year-old man from Elizabeth South, had gone to the home of the interested buyers.

Despite his stab wounds, one of the victims managed to chase down the suspect and reported his location to police.

The alleged knifeman was located nearby in Newark Court.

He was charged with two counts of aggravated cause harm with intent.

Police said the suspect and one of the victims were known to each other.

Both victims were taken to hospital with minor injuries.

The alleged assailant did not apply for police bail and will appear in the Elizabeth Magistrates Court on Monday.
