Model and influencer Gracie Piscopo ‘deeply affected’ by partner’s shock murder charge

Instagram star Gracie Piscopo has finally opened up on the “utter disbelief” she feels following the arrest of her partner, who is accused of killing his own mother.

The Perth influencer has remained tight-lipped since Andre Rebelo, the father of her young son, was last month arrested and charged with murder over the 2020 death of his mother.

However, Piscopo on Wednesday finally opened up on how the shock development has completely uprooted her life.

Taking to Instagram, Piscopo revealed she had spent the past two weeks living in a “complete state of shock and utter disbelief”.

“I’d like to thank everyone for the patience and understanding for my absence,” she wrote to her 1 million Instagram followers.

“I am deeply affected by the events that have unfolded.”

Piscopo said her focus remained on the wellbeing of her three-year-old boy Romeo and thanked her followers for the outpouring of support.

“I am grateful for everyone who has reached out and sent love and support. This has been an extremely difficult time,” she said.

“Thank you to everyone for also understanding and respecting the need for privacy.

“Romeo and I will get through this.”
