The parent s of a young girl who was allowed to “run wild” on an eight -hour flight have been slammed online after a video posted to social media showed nobody intervening, despite the child ’s disruption to other passengers. Twitter to provide 'amnesty' to some suspended accounts next week

Elon Musk said on Thursday that Twitter will provide a "general amnesty " to suspended account s starting next week after running a poll on whether to do so for users who had not broken the law or engaged in egregious spam. In a poll Musk posted on Twitter on Wednesday, 72.4% of the more than 3.16 million users who took part voted in favor of bringing back those who had been suspended by the social media platform. Apple revamps Mac lineup and pricing with new family of chips

 Apple on Monday introduced new MacBook Pro and iMac computers and three new chips to power them, with the company saying it had redesigned its graphics processing units (GPU), a key part of the chip where Nvidia dominates the market. Twitter Inc is planning to roll out its verified service next Friday with different colored checks for individuals, companies and governments, after a botched initial launch led to a surge in users impersonating celebrities and brands on the platform. Musk says user signups at all-time high

Twitter Inc Chief Executive Elon Musk says new user signups to the social media platform are at an "all -time high", as he struggles with a mass exodus of advertisers and users fleeing to other platforms over concerns about verification and hate speech. Signups were averaging over two million per day in the last seven days as of Nov. 16, up 66% compared to the same week in 2021, Musk said in a tweet late on Saturday. He also said that user active minutes were at a record high, averaging nearly 8 billion active minutes per day in the last seven days as of Nov. 15, an increase of 30% in comparison to the same week last year. Elon Musk’s Neuralink, a medical device company, is under federal investigation for potential animal-welfare violations amid internal staff complaints that its animal testing is being rushed, causing needless suffering and deaths, according to documents reviewed by Reuters and sources familiar with the investigation and company operations. Google to switch to continuous scrolling for search results

Google is now adopting a continuous scroll feature for Search results on desktop, similar to what had already been launched on mobile websites in 2021. The search results page used to show up to 10 blue links and 100 results per page, but now the company is announcing, "up to six pages of results”. After scrolling to the bottom, a loading indicator will begin to load more results faster than clicking 'next' for another page of results. The seamless feed nature is meant to be more convenient and easy which is more common on mobile websites than desktop ones. Google claimed previously, that “most people who want additional information tend to browse up to four pages of search results .” The Alphabet-owned tech company is also adding more Search box suggestions on mobile and better layouts for key results , on mobile websites. Elon Musk's X launches two new premium subscription plans

Elon Musk's social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter, rolled out two new subscription plans on Friday, including a Premium+ tier for users willing to pay for an ad-free experience. The Premium+ plan, priced at about $16 per month, includes all the tools and features offered by the platform, minus the ads, the company said in a post on the platform. It will, however, be available for users accessing the platform through a web browser for now, it added. The basic tier is priced at $3 per month but is not ad-free. Suspected human remains found by workers in Port Lincoln

Bones, which appear to be human , have been unearthed while workers were digging up bitumen on a Port Lincoln street.
